Girls Advance to Section 4AA Semifinal Game

The high school girls’ basketball team defeated St. Paul Humboldt 52-16 to advance to the section 4AA semifinal game next Tuesday. The Aggies held Humboldt to just 5 points in the second half. Girls earn 4th seed for Playoffs

Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team on earning the 4th seed in the upcoming section 4AA playoffs. Saint Agnes will open playoffs next Saturday, March 3rd. Game time is listed for 7:00 pm but is likely to move to 2:00 pm.  The Aggies will play either St. Paul Humboldt, Minneapolis Roosevelt or St. Paul Washington.

Aggies defeat Concordia 58-45

The girls’ basketball team defeated Concordia Academy 58-45 tonight to improve to 14-10 on the season.  The Aggies swept Concordia this season defeating them 55-44 earlier at Saint Agnes. Saint Agnes picked up a big Tri Metro Conference win tonight defeating Concordia Academy 55-44 on youth night at Saint Agnes. The Aggies were led by K’Lynn Lewis with 19 points. Saint Agnes defeated Tri Metro Conference rival Visitation 49-46 to improve to 11-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play. The Aggies got off to a slow start trailing by as much as 12 points in the first half. “They played unselfish team basketball to get back in to the game” said head coach L’Ronne Graves.

Saint Agnes defeated West Lutheran 49-45 in double overtime in tonight’s championship game of the Saint Agnes Holiday Tournament. The Aggies were led by Bailey Larkin’s 16 points. Saint Agnes defeated Minneapolis Edison 57-32 in the opening round of the Saint Agnes Holiday Tournament. The Aggies will now face West Lutheran at 7:00 pm Friday in the championship game. Aggies Defeat CHOF 31-29, Improve to 6-3

Saint Agnes won a 31-29 nail bitter defeating Christ’s Household of Faith Tuesday at the Salvation Army Gym. K’Lynn Lewis scored 17 points to lead the Aggies.  Adaya Sandifer and Maria Gutzmann each score 6 points. Saint Agnes improves to 6-3 on the season and will travel to Saint Paul Humboldt Friday, game time is
