The Aggies lost a 3-1 nine inning heartbreaker to DeLaSalle on Friday

The pitching was strong on both sides. DeLaSalle pitchers struck out eight, while St. Agnes sat down five

St. Agnes evened things up at one in the bottom of the sixth inning. John Paul Zimmerman grounded out, scoring one run.

Leo Pfarr earned the win for DeLaSalle. He tossed eight innings, giving up one run, three hits, striking out eight. Charlie Rubendall recorded the last three outs to earn the save for DeLaSalle. Tommy Schmidt took the loss for St. Agnes. He threw one-third of an inning, giving up two runs, and one hit.

Darius Lopez started the game for St. Agnes. He pitched eight and a third innings, surrendering one run, five hits, and striking out five.

Jonathan ProkopMax Floeder, and Ben Fischer each collected one hit to lead St. Agnes.

Sam Kulesa led DeLaSalle with two hits in four at bats.

Saint Agnes will travel to Blake on Saturday, game time is 5:00 pm
