Multiple Teams · Lopez tosses 4-0 Rain Shortened Shutout over Liberty Classical Academy


Darius Lopez didn’t allow a single run as St. Agnes defeated Liberty Classical 4-0 on Monday. Lopez allowed just two hits and induced a groundout from Trevor Rankin to end the rain shortened game.

Darius Lopez earned the win for St. Agnes. He went five innings, allowing no runs, two hits, striking out eight, and walking one. Noah Franzen took the loss for Liberty Classical. He pitched four innings, allowing four runs, four hits, and striking out four.

Lopez and Patrick Larson each drove in one run to lead St. Agnes.

Thank you to all the grade school and junior high St. Agnes baseball teams that came out for youth night. A special thanks to Aggie 6th grade baseball player Dominic Adkins who threw out the first pitch.

Saint Agnes improves to 7-5 and will travel to Harding High School on Tuesday. Game time is 4:30 pm
