Jonathan Prokop didn’t allow a single run as St. Agnes defeated St. Anthony 1-0 on Friday. Prokop allowed just three hits and struck out Nikolas Fredrikson to end the game.

The loss was the first conference loss for the defending Tri Metro Conference Champions.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Jonathan Prokop struck out six, while Nikolas Fredrikson sat down two.

Prokop earned the win for St. Agnes. He tossed seven innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, and striking out six. Fredrikson took the loss for St. Anthony. He went six innings, allowing one run, three hits, striking out two, and walking one.

Ben FischerDarius Lopez, and Max Floeder each collected one hit to lead St. AgnesSt. Agnes didn’t commit a single error in the field. Nicholas Wallisch had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
