Multiple Teams · Aggies defeat West Lutheran 75-55


Darius Lopez‘s 26 points propelled St. Agnes to a 75-55 victory over West Lutheran on Tuesday.

Aggies led early in the game, outscoring West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN) during the first half. West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN) heated up during the second half, but not enough to overpower Aggies.

Lopez paved the way for St. Agnes, making 63% (10-for-16) of shots attempted while also sinking 46% (6-for-13) of free throws attempted.

Two other players also scored in the double digits for the Aggies. Brandon Plasch put up 18 points and Marcus Johnson racked up 13 points. Terrell Jones put up two three-pointers and scored eight points total. Also helping the effort for St. Agnes were Justin Bennett (6 points, 1 rebound) and Ben Gansler (3 points).

St. Agnes finished the game with 30 rebounds (11 offensive / 19 defensive), two blocks and 13 steals.
